As the first location in the Saginaw Valley to offer this kind of service, Women’s OB-GYN is proud to offer real-time imaging 4D ultrasound services, performed in office. Women’s OB-GYN offers the latest advancement in ultrasound services, which can be applied to gynecology, obstetrics, or reproductive medicine. This technology makes it easy for patients to view inside their bodies, and can be especially exciting for new parents, as they see their baby for the first time. The in-office ultrasounds are extremely convenient for patients, as they are often able to receive their results while still in the office.
Womens’ OB-GYN is A.I.U.M accredited, with four A.R.D.M.S. certified sonographers on staff. These skilled sonographers will, on many occasions, be able to provide ultrasound results while patients are still in the office.
Below are samples of the 2D, 3D, and 4D technology. The difference in quality is astounding, as so much more detail is viewable in the latest advancements than ever before.
|FLAT IMAGING ONLY||CAPTURES THREE DIMENSION
|RETAINS 3D IMAGING, EVEN WITH BABY’S MOVEMENTS.
THIS ALLOWS FOR MUCH BETTER VIEWING OF THE BABY
Real-time imaging is illustrated in the 4D fetal ultrasound shown below. With this new technology, it is easier to capture an image and view the baby, even with fetal movement.
The following photos illustrate clear imaging techniques achieved with 3D ultrasound scans of the uterus and ovaries. Click for larger images.
Women’s OB-GYN makes a continuing effort to provide patients with the highest quality care possible. There are several customized ultrasound packages available, and the sonographers work closely with patients to select their preferred images. The packages may include color images matted and framed, or a CD with image movement in real-time.
Please note: Women interested in 4D ultrasound services must be under the care of a healthcare provider. These services are not intended to be a substitute for a physical examination, further radiology, or other testing. The optimal view via 4D scan may be of a certain part of the body, such as a hand or foot, and not necessarily of the baby’s face or head. Women’s OB-GYN, P.C. is not responsible for inadvertently disclosing the baby’s gender during an ultrasound scan.
